This weekend something incredible happened for me in the world of football (or soccer as we refer to it in the United States). On Saturday, the UEFA Champions League Final took place. This club tournament is unquestionably the greatest of its kind. Taking the finest teams from the best leagues (e.g., English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A), its winner is crowned champions of Europe. Well, my football club, Chelsea FC won this most prestigious competition, beating Bayern Munich 1-1 on penalties (4-3). Although a couple days have passed, I’m still on a high and couldn’t let my blog be absent of my joy.
