A Texas Summer with My Texas Woman

There are few places on the planet I like to go than the Texas Hill Country, and there is no one I want to be there with more than my beautiful bride Jennefer. We recently returned from a family reunion and a cousin sent a photo of my wife and I watching the local rodeo (as our kids ran in the calf scramble – the same one I did as a child). Afterward, we walked to the open air dance floor for a night of dancing under a Texas starry sky. I thought this pic captured the evening well.

Me and my wife Jennefer at Criders’ Rodeo & Dance, Hunt, Texas – July 2013

Yea, I found a woman in Texas, who’s now such a part of my life
Yea, I found a lady, who carried our babies and pointed the way for our lives
Who lady who, gets me to do the things that I should do
She’s the love of my life, she’s a friend, she’s my wife,
She’s the song I sing You may not buy it, but you can’t deny it,
That my life’s changed in front of you
The woman I’ve found has turned me around,
And she loves me too
I found a woman in Texas,
A Texas lady that won my heart.
