A few years ago our church went through the book of Galatians in a message series entitled ‘The Gospel-Centered Life‘ that was so well-received and catalytic for our congregation we decided to write our own small group curriculum based off of it. But far from being a series-driven study, we wanted these materials to be primarily a study of the book of Galatians and not our sermons. Indeed, knowing that in our post-Christian culture many adults have never been taught how to study the Bible, we structured the curriculum to walk people through a solid pattern of studying the Bible (Observation, Interpretation, and Application). Our hope is not only will small group participants learn the life-changing message in Galatians but develop sound practices for studying the Bible for the rest of their lives. The result is The Gospel-Centered Life: A Study of Galatians, a new 12-week Bible study from CCCC for small groups. We have created a Leader’s guide and study guides along with a DVD which includes message clips to be used with each lesson.
